Etant située dans le district Kim Sơn de la province Ninh Bình, la cathédrale-pagode Phát Diệm est le bastion du catholicisme vietnamien. C’est ici qu’on trouve la belle cathédrale de style pagode construite avec de la pierre et du bois en 1891 par le père Trần Lục (Cụ Sáu). Phát Diệm a élevé une oeuvre unique, un défi au temps et une symbiose entre deux civilisations. Inspirée de la spiritualité venue de France, elle porte haut l’élan créateur du Vietnam.
Cathédrale-Pagode
Nằm ở huyên Kim Sơn của tỉnh Ninh Bình, Phát Diệm là nhà thờ chính toà của công giáo Việtnam. Chính ở nơi nầy có một nhà thờ mô phỏng theo đình chùa được xây cất với đá và gỗ vào năm 1891 bỡi cha Trần Lục hay cụ sáu. Phát Diệm là một kiệt tác duy nhất, một thách thức với thời gian và một tương quan giữa hai nền văn minh. Được gợi ý từ thiên liêng tính của Pháp quốc, nhà thờ Phát Diệm làm rực rỡ sự sáng tạo của Việt Nam về tâm linh.
Located in the district Kim Sơn of the Ninh Bình province, the catheral-pagoda Phát Diệm is the bastion of Vietnamese catholicism. It is here where we find the beautiful cathedral of pagoda style built with stone and wood in 1891 by father Trần Lục (Cụ Sáu).
