Được xây dựng vào thế kỷ 18, vườn bách thảo có khoảng chừng 500 loại cây to và nhỏ trên một diện tích 12,7 ha. Vườn nầy được bố trí theo phong cách Anh Quốc nên có một cầu treo, một hang động, một suối nước và có luôn cả một bến đò. Rất thỏai mái cho ai muốn tìm lại sự thăng bằng và yện tịnh sau một tuần mệt nhọc với công việc làm. Nơi nầy còn là một nơi biểu tượng ký ức của nhà văn hào Châteaubriand lúc ông 39 tuổi. Nhắc đến các cây ở Vallée-aux_Loups, ông viết: Tôi biết tất cả loại cây qua tên và xem như con cháu của tôi: đó là gia đình của tôi ngoài ra tôi không còn ai cả.

Depuis sa création au XVIIIème siècle, ce jardin botanique abrite à peu près 500 espèces d’arbres et d’arbustes sur une surface de 12,7 hectares. Étant conçu comme un jardin à l’anglaise, ce jardin possède un pont suspendu, une grotte, une cascade et même une embarcadère. C’est très reposant pour celui qui aime retrouver l’équilibre harmonieux et la tranquillité après une semaine de travail. C’est aussi le lieu emblématique de la mémoire de l’écrivain Chateaubriand âgé de 39 ans à cette époque. En parlant de ces arbres du parc de la Vallée-aux-loups, il écrivait: je les connais tous par leurs noms comme mes enfants: c’est ma famille, je n’en ai pas d’autre.
Since its creation in the 18th century, this botanical garden has been home to about 500 species of trees and shrubs over an area of 12.7 hectares. Designed as an English garden, it features a suspension bridge, a grotto, a waterfall, and even a landing stage. It is very relaxing for those who enjoy finding harmonious balance and tranquility after a week of work. It is also the emblematic place of memory of the writer Chateaubriand, who was 39 years old at the time. Speaking of the trees in the Vallée-aux-Loups park, he wrote: « I know them all by their names like my children: they are my family, I have no other. »
